Accommodation
As June is high season in Tromsø, we have reserved rooms for the conference participants. Rooms are to be booked by the conference participant her/himself. All the hotels listed are located in downtown Tromsø, the first two have waterfront locations. Conference participants are offered reduced prices (see below). Breakfast is included in the price.
Clarion Hotel Bryggen (Single room: NOK 1135,- Double room: NOK 1335,-)
- To make your reservation, you can call (+47 77 78 11 00) or email the hotel. The booking number for the conference is #69863. The deadline for reserving a room at this rate is May 25, 2012.
Rica Ishavshotel (Single room: NOK 1065,- Superior single room: NOK 1320,-)
- To make this reservation you can call (+47) 77 66 64 00 or email the hotel. The booking number for the conference is #8591006. These rooms will no longer be available after May 21, 2012.
Rica Grand Hotel Tromsø (Single/double room: NOK 1050,-)
- The booking number for the conference is #3409670. These rooms will no longer be available after May 21, 2012.
Thon Hotel Polar (Single room: NOK 745,-)
- To secure the conference rate with Thon Hotel Polar, it will be necessary to call them directly at +47 77 75 17 00. The reservation number you will need to reference is 33 75 130. Thirty rooms have been made available to us at this rate.
Update:
- There are only 3 rooms left for the conference in student housing and you cannot check in until Monday June 18th and checkout is on Sunday June 24.
Student Housing Accommodation is now available for both students and faculty (breakfast not included). We were able to negotiate a new price and now have rooms available for 2450 NOK for the week.
